Chef Lanka Restaurant was founded 25 years ago in Karama, Dubai, by Chandrika Munasinghe, a passionate Sri Lankan with a love for home-style cooking. With no formal training, she recreated the authentic flavors of Sri Lanka—grinding spices by hand and preparing each dish with care. Favorites like kottu roti, lamprais, & devilled chicken soon became local staples. But Chef Lanka was always more than just food. Chandrika built a place that felt like home. Today, it stands as a proud symbol of tradition, warmth, and resilience—serving generations with the same unforgettable taste.
